This book is a handy guide for you, Traveller. The entries inside will guide you through your visit to Thesystem.

This guide was assembled by over ninety expert tour guides, all of them on a tight deadline of two hours to complete their assignments, leaving absolutely no time for tea breaks, and most certainly no time to actually visit the places they were describing. When it comes time for lawyers of various insurance companies to place blame for any misadventures on your trip through Thesystem, you may find their names conveniently listed in the credits of this guide.

We wish you safe and inspirational travels.

An Improbably Comprehensive Guide to Thesystem

Congratulations Traveller! You’ve selected Thesystem as your next holiday destination—a choice that screams, "I adore chaos!" For those brave souls willing to venture into a place where science meets sorcery, and the plant life is downright murderous, here’s what you absolutely must know before you zip up your space boots and teleport out.

Stellar Cartography

Thesystem is a stellar system made up of a single star, two planets and four habitable (by most definitions) moons.

Magical Science or Scientific Magic?

Techno-Magocracy: With a casual flick of the wand replacing the need for button-pressing, the new techno-magocracy views traditional tech as quaint. Here, be ready to upgrade your calculators to crystal balls.

Thanks to the latest in spell-tech and nano-magics you’ll find both flying citadels and deep underground civilizations as equally viable destinations. Just don’t ask how things work, unless you've got a couple of hours and a high tolerance for phrases like "quantum enchantments."

Environmental Quirks

Metal Rot: In Thesystem, metal rot can reduce your spaceship to a pile of cosmic dust faster than you can say "oxidation". If your ship starts to resemble Swiss cheese, it's probably time to leave.

<aside> ⚠️ Rustproofing: Treat all metals with skepticism and a good enchantment. Or better yet, stick to plastics.

Violent Plant Life: It's not uncommon to find yourself in a tug-of-war with a vine over your favorite hat (or limb). A stroll through the gardens here can be less 'a walk in the park', and more 'a sprint for your life'.

Utopian Dreams: There's a legendary perfect place rumored to exist somewhere in the system, flush with resources and devoid of violent flora. Most locals will scoff at this, but they might be trying to keep the paradise to themselves.
